A Charity Born from Passion and Purpose

Bamboo Projects began as a heartfelt mission, inspired by the personal journeys and professional experiences of our two founders. Together, they combined their passions for mental health and disability support to create a charity that truly makes a difference in people’s lives.

The Story Behind Bamboo Projects

Our charities founder came from a career in construction, where he witnessed first hand the challenges people face with their mental health, including his own struggles. Drawing on the strategies and tools that helped him regain and maintain better mental health, he began supporting others in the industry who were navigating similar issues. His lived experience and practical insights became the foundation of Bamboo Projects’ approach—one rooted in understanding, empathy, and genuine care.

Our other founder is a Special Education Teacher with a deep commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities and thinking outside the box. Their expertise in education and passion for creating inclusive opportunities complemented the vision, and together, they combined their strengths to establish Bamboo Projects as a Registered Charity.
